CCTE TEACHER
Hello My name is Ashley Perry! I am the visual arts teacher at East Village Middle College High School. The arts at East Village is apart of San Diego Unified School Districts CCTE program, College and Career Technical Education.
Why CCTE? CCTE courses allow students to explore arts, while learning industry standards with real world applications. In these courses, we aim to better prepare your child for their college education and career. I went to San Diego State University, receiving my bachelor's in Kinesiology. After a couple of years teaching PE and 10 years in the industry of photography, I ended up back in the classroom, my home away from home. Sharing my passion for art, experience in the industry and mentoring students while they achieve and reach for their visions makes teaching apart of who I am. Please reach out with any questions about our department at East Village! Ashley Perry |
